Beginner
Six-week beginner pottery course in Denver's RiNo District. Wedging, centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing — by the last session you'll have a small body of fired work to take home. Built for total beginners and people with a little prior experience.
What You'll Learn
- Week 1-2: Studio orientation, wedging clay, centering on the wheel, and opening
- Week 3-4: Pulling walls and shaping cylinders into cups and bowls
- Week 5-6: Trimming, handles, and glazing your pieces for the final firing

- What to wear: clothes you don't mind getting clay on. Avoid long sleeves.
