For wheel throwers ready to break out of round forms. Six weeks of throwing, then cutting, darting, faceting, and reassembling pots into more sculptural pieces.
Prerequisite
Comfortable centering and throwing a cylinder. The class assumes you can throw a wall — we work on what happens after.

- Faceting (carving flat planes into a thrown form)
- Darting (cutting and re-joining to create square or oval shapes)
- Combining wheel work with handbuilt elements
- Glazing surfaces that complement altered forms

- 25 lbs of fresh clay
